After 21 days in the hospital, Jeb was finally discharged and is headed home. He'll be wearing a LifeVest 24/7, only taking it off to bathe or swim. Now that he's home, we can finally begin the outpatient testing he needs. He'll be having a cardiac MRI along with a chemically induced stress test to help determine how much damage has been done to his heart. He's also on heart medications that he'll continue taking, and we're hopeful they'll help his heart improve. If not, a pacemaker may be needed down the road. The next 30 days will be very important as we monitor how his heart responds, complete the MRI and stress test, and then decide on the next steps.
